Separating Seasonal Stock from Year-Round Wholesale Lines
Buyer brief
A wholesaler wants a clearer boundary between occasion-specific products and decorations that can support several celebrations. The proposed catalog structure separates seasonal wording from general product roles.
Proposed approach
- Identify year-specific numbers, printed messages and themed components within each proposed kit.
- Keep general accessories and core colors in separately defined SKU records where they are sold independently.
- Plan review dates for seasonal lines and confirm quantities using the buyer’s own market information.
Approval and review
Check that catalog descriptions identify the exact occasion and year where relevant. General components should only be repositioned for another use if their actual specification and presentation remain appropriate.
